Greatest Hits: 'Louie Louie'

This is an edition of The Sunday Alternative's Greatest Hits, which is basically a way of recapping certain areas of the show so far. I like to try and keep the show as fresh as possible, and dropping regular features in favour of new ones is how it happens.

The feature Louie Smells Like Rock and Roll was an airing of my collection of cover versions of 'Louie Louie', 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', and 'I Love Rock and Roll'. As you'll remember, there were a lot of them. This edition of The Sunday Alternative's Greatest Hits is only for the very patient. Or mad.

The tracklist is in chronological order of the songs being played on the radio:

The Kingsmen
Richard Berry And The Pharohs
Motorhead
The Clash
Toots And The Maytalls
Joan Jett And The Blackhearts
The Navarones
Paul Revere And The Raiders
Jeff And The Rfs
The Beach Boys
John Schroder
The Sonics
The Sandpipers
MC5
Iggy Pop
Black Flag
